Pat Geissman has consistently recognized the needs of our county and has initiated effective solutions without raising taxes. Among Pat's core issues have been quality of life for all - with a focus on senior citizens and people with mental illness and disabilities. She also believes in fostering a healthy economic climate in our county, supporting economic development to create and retain jobs. Pat has networked effectively with other agencies and levels of government to find funding for many projects she has initiated for the county - from rail crossing safety upgrades for our county's many dangerous crossings, to a juvenile detention center for which she secured $1.3 in federal funding. |
